Wine list | Ribolla Gialla |
The variety used for this label is 100% pure Ribolla Gialla. Another vine certainly typical of Friuli and one of the most cultivated in Collio. Hints of its cultivation have been found since the fifteenth century. It comes from the municipalities of Oslavia and Capriva del Friuli, in the Doc Collio area, with an altitude of 150 m and 80 m above sea level respectively. Vinification and fermentation after harvesting the grapes are separated from the stalk. The juice and pulp undergo a cold maceration, then a slight pressing that allows the separation from the skins. Then fermentation in steel tanks. The aging of the wine is left to rest about six months on the lees and a few months in the bottle
