From the vinification in purity of Sauvignon grapes. The origin is the classic one of the territory of Russiz Superiore-Capriva del Friuli. Altitude: between 80 and 200 meters above sea level. Vinification and fermentation starts after harvesting the grapes that are separated from the stalk. The juice and pulp undergo a cold maceration, then a slight pressing that allows the separation from the skins. About 15% of the must is fermented in oak casks, the remaining in steel tanks. Finally the aging of the wine that is left to rest about eight months on the lees and then in the bottle.
Characteristics of this Sauvignon Doc
The appearance of the wine is straw yellow with green nuances. The scent denotes fantastic, intense and elegant vegetal and floral notes such as sage, fresh pepper, acacia flowers and grapefruit. The taste on the palate expresses freshness and sapidity blend beautifully. Structured and balanced, soft with good extract, with a long finish.
Suggested food pairings while tasting this white wine
A perfect wine to accompany fish dishes, it is indicated in combination with herbal risotto and more generally with all first courses. The optimal serving temperature is 8 ºC.
