This red wine from the Le Morette winery is made from a blend of 65% Corvina, 30% Rondinella and 5% Molinara grapes. This Bardolino from the Veneto winery is produced in the historic DOC area, which is why it bears the designation ‘Classico’. The grapes are harvested by hand during the harvest in the last ten days of September; they are then gently pressed and vinified in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 26°C. This is followed by 8 days of maceration in contact with the skins. The final stage of ageing takes place in the bottle for a period of two months.
Characteristics of this Veneto wine
It has a ruby red colour with cherry-red hues. The aroma is fruity, fresh and pleasantly vinous. On the palate, it is dry, spicy and has excellent length.
Recommended pairings with this red wine from Cantina Le Morette
Excellent with flavourful red meats, white meats and mushroom risottos. Serve at a temperature of 16°C.
