To produce the Bardolino wine, it is used a blend of 65% Corvina and 35% of Rondinella grapes. The grapes are picked at the end of September and the beginning of October. The cultivation soils are in Veneto in the Cavaion Veronese, Bardolino and Lazise areas at 160-180 meters above the sea level. There is a cold maceration to extract the main aromas. It follows the maceration during the alcoholic fermentation with the increasing of the temperatures.
Characteristics of the Bardolino wine
It has a ruby red color. The smell is fresh and fragrant with strawberry and marasca cherry aromas together with the spices and the floral hints. The taste is fruity, sapid with a good body and structure.
