Wine description
The Rosso di Montalcino "La Caduta" of Caparzo is obtained, as to discipline, with 100% Sangiovese grapes; Caparzo is one of the first in Montalcino to produce this red wine in 1970. After the strictly manual harvest, it ferments on the skins at a controlled temperature for about ten days, and then passes into large cask for 1 year.
Characteristics of this Rosso di Montalcino
The wine has a bright ruby red color; The nose has hints of small red fruits that end with herbaceous tones. The palate is fresh and crunchy, with a nice persistence.
Recommended pairings tasting this Tuscan wine
Excellent with all meat dishes, both stewed and roasted and grilled. To be served at a temperature of 16-18°C in a large glass.
