100% Sangiovese Grosso grapes cultivated in vineyards around Val di Suga cellar, in the north of Montalcino, where the soils are characterized mainly by clay. Here Sangiovese expresses all its elegance and its class. The wine-making technique differs from the one of Brunello only for the aging. The fermentation is managed in steel containers (100 hl). The maceration lasts 15 days at 30°C and it is followed by 15 months aging in slavonian oak barrels. The maturation continues in the bottle for 3 months.
