Description du vin
The Primitivo di Manduria DOP “Il Duca” of the Winery Mediterranea is a red wine barricaded produced in Apulia, in the area of Salento. After the grape harvest, the grapes are pressed and undergo a long maceration of 15-20 days. The fermentation takes place in thermoconditioned vats. After pressing, the wine is poured again, and then fining in oak barrels.
Characteristics of Primitivo di Manduria DOC
Its colour is deep red with orange reflections. The aroma is light and characteristic. The palate is full, aromatic and tending to velvety with aging.
Recommended pairings while tasting this red wine
Serve in goblets of medium width at a temperature of 18-20°C. It is an excellent wine for the whole meal and a perfect companion to cheeses and roasted meats.
