Alto Nero by Rapitalà is a great red wine that encloses all the features of its lands. It praises the DOC denomination and it is produced with 100% Nero d’ Avola grapes. The vineyards are located on the hills owned by the company, 550 meters above the sea level. The harvest is planned only when the grapes reach the perfect level of maturation. This wine is the result of a careful wine making followed by a precise aging period. “Alto” is the image of the its territories: deep colour, mature fruits, vanilla and spices. It represents the expression of the most important vine variety of Sicily: Nero d’Avola.
Features of Nero d’ Avola “ALTO NERO DOC”
Ruby red colour with violet reflections. Its perfume recalls mature fruit like cherry and dark cherry. The taste is fresh, mineral and round.
