Directly from the Valle d'Itria, a place between Bari and the provinces of Taranto and Brindisi also known for being the ‘land of the Trullii’ comes this Apulian wine from the Tenute Girolamo winery. For its production, 100 Negroamaro grapes are used, which after the harvest undergo soft maceration; this is followed by fermentation in steel and finally by a long maturation in French oak barriques for a duration of 6 months. There is also a further final ageing phase in the bottle for a further 6 months.
