Wine description
This red wine from the Apulian Varvaglione winery is made from 100% Negroamaro grapes. After the harvest, maceration takes place at a controlled temperature of 24-28 C°, malolactic fermentation and finally ageing in French tonneaux for a duration of 3 months.
Characteristics of this Apulian wine
It has a very intense red colour with amaranth hues. The olfactory bouquet is reminiscent of wild berries while the palate surprises with hints of vanilla. Good persistence.
Recommended pairings with this Apulian red wine
Excellent with mature cheeses, pasta and pizza. serve at a temperature of 16-18 C°.
