Primitivo di Manduria Dolce Naturale CHICCA DOCG VARVAGLIONE

Made from pure Primitivo di Manduria grapes, this red wine from the Apulian Varvaglione winery is named after Francesca, the youngest of the family: it is the winery's only DOCG wine. Vinification involves maceration at a controlled temperature of a maximum of 26 C°. At 15 degrees alcohol there is spontaneous fermentation and the wine is thus ready for ageing in 10 hl barrels for a minimum of 8 months.

 

 

 

 

It has a brilliant red colour. Cherry, plum and blackcurrant aromas prevail on the nose. On the palate it impresses with its structure and persistence.

 

 

 

 

Try it with almond desserts, but also with mature cheeses. Serve at a temperature of 12-14 C°.
