This label is the result of the vinification of 100% pure Maestri Lambrusco grapes. The provenance is the classic one of Emilia. Vinification requires that the must obtained from the pressing of the late harvested grapes ferments for a long time in steel. The wine is then transferred to small oak barrels, where it remains to mature for three years. "Vigna del Picchio" is an Emilia Lambrusco IGT that comes from a challenge: an important "still" wine can also be obtained from Lambrusco grapes.
