Wine description
The Tenute Tascante project, now in its third harvest, is enriched with a second wine: Ghiaia Nera, our interpretation of Nerello Mascalese from the young vineyards of the Tenute sull'Etna. Another important testimony for Sicily, a wine-growing continent formed by different territories and countless variables, such as to still have enormous potential to express.
Etna Rosso "Ghiaia Nera" DOC's features
Brilliant, pale ruby red in color. Strong floral and typically wisteria hints, red berries. On the palate the wine is of good persistence, with velvety tannins that leave a good palate.
Suggested pairings tasting this product of Tasca d'Almerita winery
Ideal to accompany meat dishes and semi-mature cheeses. It is recommended to consume it at a temperature of 15°C in a glass not very wide.
