Wine description
From pure Sagrantino grapes harvested between the first and second decade of October, this red Umbrian wine is born: the vineyards are planted on clay, sandy soils located at about 350 m above sea level. After the harvest and pressing of the grapes, fermentation is carried out in steel vats and aged for 6 months in large casks.
Characteristics of this Umbrian wine
It has a very intense ruby red color with purple reflections. The nose is characterized by notes of black cherry, orange, cloves and vanilla. On the palate it is soft and fresh and evokes red berry fruits.
Recommended combinations with this red wine from Umbria
Try with matured cheeses, grilled meats or boiled. Serve at a temperature of 16-18°C.
