The Langhe Sauvignon by La Fusina winery is produced with 100% Sauvignon grapes from the area of Dogliani, in the province of Cuneo, on a calcareous soil at an altitude of 300 meters. This label is a novelty for 2022 of the winery, for the first vintage were produced 2.500 bottles. Vinification takes place in wood with soft pressing, followed by aging in steel and subsequent aging in bottle.
Characteristics of this Langhe Sauvignon
On organoleptic examination, this wine has a pale straw yellow color with marked green reflections. The nose expresses aromas of yellow melon and quince. delicate olfactory balance with intense vegetal notes and delicate memory of passion fruit. The palate is fresh, savory and drinkable thanks to the fruity notes of yellow nectarine, pink grapefruit and mineral notes. It also impresses with a delicate aftertaste and a long persistence of fresh sensations and citrus nuances.

It is an excellent wine throughout the meal, it goes nicely with first and second courses based on fish, shellfish, crustaceans and tuna carpaccio. Thanks to its delicacy it is ideal to combine it with particularly spicy dishes. For serving it is recommended a temperature of 10°-12ºC in a high and wide glass.
