The denomination of this sensational white wine of the Ferghettina winery is “Curtefranca”. This wine is made with 80% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Bianco grapes. The cultivations are at 250 meters above the sea level and the soils is with limestone with clay too. The cultivation method is the Guyot with a density of 5000 trees per hectare. The grape harvest takes place in the first decade of September with a manual picking. Then the grapes are softly pressed with a pneumatic press. The must is lately selected and there is the alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks at 16-18°C. The vineyards are separately vinified and then in the following spring is assembled with selected tastes. The yeasts refinement takes place in steel on yeasts for 6 months.

It has a straw yellow color. The smell is floral with golden apple hints. It is also fresh, sapid and decided. The taste is balanced and refined. The end is clean and persistent.

It must be served at 8°C in a high and tapered wine glass. It must be joined to the fish or with pasta and bottarga.
