This sensational Curtefranca Bianco is produced by the San Pietro farm with a blend of 50% Chardonnay and 50% Pinot Bianco grapes. The soil has morain origins. It takes place the manual picking and the grapes are put in 14 kg boxes with a profit of 9500 kg per hectare which produces 6000 liters of Curtefranca Bianco, per year. The grapes arrive after 2 hours from the picking and it follows the pressing and the cooling of the must at 14°C with a static decantation. The must ferments with selected yeasts at 18°C for a week in steel tanks. There are two pouring with a light clarification, the filtration and finally the cold stabilization. This wine is bottled in the late spring. It refines for 7 months in stainless steel tanks.
Characteristics of this Curtefranca Bianco
This Franciacorta has a straw yellow color. The smell is floral with Golden apple hints. The taste is fresh, sapid, decided and also balance and refined. It has a clean and persistent end.
