Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo “Prope” DOC from Cantina Velenosi is a rosé wine made from Montepulciano grapes grown in the Abruzzo hills, an area particularly suited to the production of fresh, fragrant, and highly balanced wines. The vineyards are located on well-exposed clay and limestone soils, influenced by breezes from the Adriatic Sea and inland temperature variations, conditions that favor optimal grape ripening and a good aromatic concentration. The harvest is manual and the grapes are subjected to a short maceration on the skins, a technique that allows obtaining the typical intense and bright cherry color. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel at a controlled temperature to preserve freshness, fruity aromas and taste elegance.

On organoleptic examination it appears with a vivid and bright waxy pink color, characteristic of the name. On the nose it offers intense and fragrant scents of cherry, strawberry, pomegranate and small red fruits, accompanied by light floral notes of rose and violet. In the mouth it is fresh, soft and harmonious, with a pleasant saltiness and good structure that make it enveloping but at the same time dynamic and flowing.
