From 100% vinification of Nebbiolo grapes. The provenance falls in a selection of the vineyards owned by our family in La Morra and Serralunga in the Barolo area, in San Rocco Seno D’Elvio in the Barbaresco area, in Sinio and Diano d’Alba. Vinification involves the use of steel. Maceration on the skins for about 20 days. Aging takes place in French and Slavonian oak barrels for about 24 months and in barriques for a small part.
Langhe Nebbiolo DOC Pio Cesare’s features
A pale ruby red color, with garnet-colored reflections. The perfume on the nose, fine and fragrant, is expressed with hints of berries, notes of violets and broom and hints of spice. The taste on the palate has velvety tannins and good persistence.
