The Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Brut Cuvée del Fondatore "Graziano Merotto" is a wine produced in the Merotto cellar located in the San Martino col in the Valdobbiadene territory in Veneto. The grapes are 100% Glera coming from a selected vineyard located in the bank of the San Martino col. After the squeezing out the must is put in the autoclave for about 50 days, follows 120 days on the yeast.
Characteristics of Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Brut
Esthetically it has a straw yellow color with a creamy foam and a fine and persistence perlage. The scent is fine and intense with some floral, white fruit and citron flavors. The taste is fresh with an elegant and sapid aroma with a floral and fruity aftertaste.
Recommended pairings while tasting this red wine
It has to be served in flute at 6-8°C. It is perfect for the aperitif time, with fish and crustacean crudité. It has to be eaten with asparagus meals.
