Coribante comes from the unexpected union of the aromas and character of two red grape varieties: Syrah from which it takes the aromas of a fresh wine, and dried Malvasia Nera di Lecce, aged in barrique for 12 months from which it takes the fullness and body of a mature wine. The name of the wine is inspired by the lively character of the Coribanti, dancers who romped to the rhythm of the tambourine in frenetic dances and pulsating music, capable of transmitting warmth and energy. For its vinification, 60% of Syrah vines are used in blends, which represents the structural base and characterizes it for its softness, then the black Malvasia of Lecce is added for 40% which defines the flavor and characteristics of the wine. The origin of the grapes is the classic IGT Puglia Salentina. The vinification involves the union of two different wines, the fragrant Syrah from the last harvest and the black Malvasia aged for 12 months in barrique, which brings complexity and fullness.
