A passito wine of extraordinary quality. It comes from a "single vineyard" of Moscatello Selvatico planted in 2005 within the Castello Monaci company. It is undoubtedly the most representative vineyard of the company, surrounded by centuries-old pines. They are therefore vines that cannot be reproduced on the market. The grape variety used for its vinification is that of 100% pure Moscatello Selvatico selected directly at the time of harvest. The origin of the vines falls within the DOC area of Puglia Salento. After the ripening period the grapes harvested are directly conducted in the cellar and started the vinification process, which follows the traditional method.
Passito di Moscatello Selvatico Castello Monaci in box
A straw yellow colour with golden reflections. The nose reveals the typical aromatic, floral, ripe yellow fruit, spice and citrus scents. The taste in the mouth is soft, velvety, with an excellent taste-olfactory persistence.
