Wine description
From the use of 100% Riesling grapes, this white wine from Hofstätter Winery is born: the name Ockfen recalls that of the small village enclosed by a natural concave amphiteter among vineyards called Bockstein. The soil is mainly composed of grey slate, moreover the particular climate gives this Riesling the ideal structure. After manual harvesting, the grapes are lightly crushed and the must is left in contact with the skins. Pressing and fermentation at controlled temperature.
Characteristics of this wine from Trentino
It has a straw yellow color and a very rich olfactory bouquet reminiscent of white fruits and mineral notes. The palate is fruity and very intense.
Recommended pairings with this white wine
Try it with fish dishes, spicy dishes and Asian cuisine. Serve at a temperature of 10-12 ºC.
