Wine description
This Salento white wine from Due Palme Winery is made from 100% Negroamaro grapes harvested by hand during the grape harvest, in order to preserve all their qualities. For the production of this white Negroamaro wine, hyper-oxygenation is used to cause oxidation and precipitate the anthocyanins, thus preventing the product from taking on a red colour. This is followed by fermentation with frequent pumping over and finally ageing in the bottle.
Characteristics of this Apulian white wine
It has a straw yellow colour and an aromatic bouquet with notes of green apple, pear and almond, as well as floral and spicy notes. On the palate, it has an intense and lingering aftertaste.
Recommended pairings with this Salento white wine
Try it with light fish dishes or salads. Serve at a temperature of 10-12°C.
