This rosé wine from the Apulian winery Due Palme is born from a blend of Susumaniello 50% and Primitivo 50% grapes. The vineyards are located between the provinces of Brindisi, Lecce and Taranto and enjoy deep soils with a good presence of clay. The harvest takes place at the end of September for Susumaniello and at the beginning of September for Primitivo: once harvested by hand, the grapes are cooled for 48 hours in cold rooms; subsequently, cryomaceration takes place in the press and soft pressing. We then proceed with thermoregulated fermentation in steel at a controlled temperature of 15 C°.
Characteristics of this Salento rosé wine
It has a very delicate pale pink color; the nose is inebriated by olfactory notes of red fruits, geranium and Mediterranean scrub. On the palate it is fresh, soft and with excellent persistence.
