Wine description
This Lugana white wine from Cantina Casa Lupo is made from 100% Trebbiano di Lugana grapes grown between Veneto and Lombardy: these vineyards enjoy the breezes of Lake Garda and an altitude of 80-100 meters above sea level. The grapes are harvested by hand in September, and after a soft pressing, cold maceration on the skins follows. Alcoholic fermentation takes place for approximately 12 days at a controlled temperature, and the wine is finally aged in stainless steel.
Characteristics of this Lugana wine
It has a straw yellow color with golden highlights and a fruity aroma reminiscent of exotic fruit, pineapple, and citrus. On the palate, it is characterized by a certain softness and freshness.
Recommended pairings with this white wine from Veneto
Try it with sushi, seafood dishes, or as an aperitif. Serve at 6-8°C.
