Wine list | Lugana |
This white wine from Costa Arènte winery comes from Turbiana or Trebbiano di Lugana grapes grown in the hilly area of Lugana located at 50m above sea level. Of particular importance is the soil on which the vines grow: the soils are clayey and rich in mineral salts and become particularly muddy after the rain giving a perfect flavor to the grapes. After harvesting, the grapes are crushed, destemmed and subjected to soft pressing: fermentation at a controlled temperature of 16-18ºC and maturation on the fine steel lees for a duration of 6 months.
Features of this Lugana
The wine has a straw yellow colour and olfactory notes that revolve around white fruits and flowers. The palate is slightly savory and fresh.
Recommended pairings with this Veneto white wine
