Wine list | Langhe Bianco |
This Langhe Bianco from Roagna winery comes from Chardonnay and Nebbiolo grapes grown in the Carso vineyard, facing east and characterized by a consistent presence of clay and sand. The harvest takes place in September and aims at harvesting perfectly intact bunches and having reached the correct degree of ripeness: it is for this reason that the quantity of bottles of this product is very limited. We then proceed with the fermentation phase in wooden vats through the use of indigenous yeasts and for a duration of 10 days; the maturation instead takes place in oak for 2 years.
Characteristics of this Piedmont's wine
The organoleptic examination shows an intense straw yellow color with olfactory notes that refer to exotic fruit, flowers and spices: with particular attention you can also see a vein of flint. On the palate it is full-bodied and with a savory finish.
Suggested food pairings while tasting this white wine from Piedmont
Particularly good in combination with fish dishes, especially structured first and second courses; also perfect with white meats or with medium-aged cheeses.
