ROAGNA
Located in the heart of the Langhe, more precisely in Barbaresco, Roagna wines are the very essence of the territory from which they originate. Since its origins Roagna has always implemented what is still its manifesto today, always with the primary objective of enhancing the territory of its birth: the use of old vines, characterised by deep root systems and capable of generating grapes with great aromatic concentration; attention to biodiversity, with full respect for nature and the use of only sulphur and copper to care for the plants; long maturation in oak barrels, in carefully selected wood; the use of the submerged cap technique during the maceration phase, to allow the release of noble substances present in the skins. All these expedients are implemented with the aim of producing products of absolute quality as well as uniqueness: Roagna wines are in fact produced in very limited numbers, precisely because of their special character; from Dolcetto to Barbera, from Barolo to Barbaresco from the most prestigious crus, i.e. Pajè and Asili, right down to Barolo Chinato or grappa.
