From the vinification of Lagrein grapes. The origin is the classic one of the hills of Pressano and Sorni in La-vis, Trentino Alto Adige. The vinification involves manual harvesting in the first ten days of October, and fermentation at controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks, static decantation of the wine, aging in concrete tanks and a small part in oak barrels, for 5/6 about months, before bottling.
Characteristics of this red wine from La-Vis winery
The appearance of the wine is purplish red with light purple hues. The nose expresses aromas of small dark berry fruits, plum, cherry, hints of vegetables and undergrowth. The taste on the palate has a good structure, with a pleasantly rough tannic texture, which supports a dense and deep fruit. The finish is well balanced with a return to spicy notes.
