The Cecchi winery produces this sensational Chianti which represents the excellence of the Italian food and wine tradition in the world. Its vinification involves the use of 85% Sangiovese grapes in blends, with the addition of Colorino grapes for 10% and Canaiolo for the remaining 5%. The territorial origin for the Chianti of the Cecchi winery falls on the Chianti Hills in the heart of North-Western Tuscany. The red vinification, for this wine, involves a first phase of prolonged maceration on the skins and a subsequent fermentation that extends for at least 15 days. Finally, the refinement of the wine which develops for 3 months in the bottle.
