Montefalco Rosso is the result of the wise and respectful vinification in a blend of Sangiovese grapes for 70%, Sagrantino for 15%, and Merlot 15%. The origin falls in the territory of Montefalco, Umbria. The vinification involves the traditional use in red with prolonged maceration at a controlled temperature. Fermentation lasts 15 days at a controlled temperature of 28°C. The wine is aged for 14 months in barriques and at least 4 months in the bottle.
