An historic label that encompasses all the Tuscan tradition in Chianti winemaking. This label is based on the clear concept that Chianti Classico is the only and exclusive fruit of Sangiovese vinified in purity. The origin of the vines is identified directly on the hills of Castellina in Chianti and is born on soils rich in limestone and clay, capable of giving the Sangiovese grapes interesting organoleptic characteristics. The vinification is carried out in steel tanks, with controlled temperatures between 25 and 28°C. the fermentation and subsequent refinement of the wine require it to age for 12 months in oak tonneau and aged for six months in the bottle.
Characteristics of this red wine
The organoleptic examination shows an intense ruby red color. The nose perfume is expressed with evident fruity notes of plum, black cherry and dark cherry, then spicy notes and woody nuances. The taste on the sip is enveloping and well worked in the tannic texture, fresh and slightly savory, with a long persistence.
