The Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara vineyards are planted on gravelly morainic soils, where the grapes used to produce this Veneto red wine are harvested. After harvesting, the classic red vinification process is carried out, which requires maceration in direct contact with the skins. Once fermentation is complete after about ten days, the wine is decanted, undergoes malolactic fermentation and is then left to rest in steel for 5-6 months before being bottled.
Characteristics of this Veneto wine
It has a ruby red colour with violet reflections. The bouquet is fruity, reminiscent of morello cherries and currants. On the palate, it is harmonious and pleasantly savoury.
Recommended pairings with this Bardolino wine
Particularly suitable with typical dishes of the Venetian culinary tradition: roasts, stews, polenta, mushroom or radicchio risottos. Serve at a temperature of 14-16°C.
