This Susumaniello Zolla was born from the use of pure Susumaniello grapes from the Brindisi vineyards. This Apulian red wine is born following the destemming of the grapes and subsequent maceration at controlled temperature for a period of 8-10 days. This is followed by racking and malolactic fermentation in steel with final refinement in American and French oak barriques.
Characteristics of this wine from Puglia
It has a deep ruby red color. The olfactory profile is elegant, with notes of black cherry and plum, currant, blackberry and juniper. On the palate it is full-bodied, with velvety tannins and a persistent aftertaste.
