This white wine from the Piedmontese winery Giovanni Rosso is made from 100% Arneis grapes from the Roero Arneis DOCG area. The vineyards are located at various exposures, at an altitude of 280 metres above sea level, and were planted between 1981 and 1991. Hand-picked during the September harvest, the grapes are destemmed, pressed and cold macerated, followed by fermentation in temperature-controlled steel tanks for about 21 days. The wine is aged in steel for 6 months and then in the bottle for another 3 months.
Characteristics of this Piedmont wine
It has a very delicate straw yellow colour and impresses with a refined and elegant bouquet of acacia, pear, peach and tropical fruit. On the palate, it is persistent, fresh and with a savoury finish.
