The 10 Vendemmie Rosso Limited Edition of Tenuta Ulisse is produced with 100% Montepulciano grapes, cultivated in the vineyards located in Crecchio, in the province of Cheti. After the manual harvest, they are followed by pressing-destemming and 15-20 days of maceration and alcoholic fermentation in steel. The aging takes place partly in French oak barrels for 12 months.
Features of the 10 Vendemmie Rosso Limited Edition
On the organoleptic test this wine from Abruzzo has a very deep ruby red color; the nose is fruity, with hints of plums, cherry jam and tobacco notes; slightly spicy. In the mouth it is soft and rich in noble tannins, with a finish that gives notes of cocoa, coffee and vanilla.
Recommended pairings tasting this red wine
Perfect with first and second courses of red meat and game. Excellent as a meditation wine. The optimal serving temperature is 18°C in a fairly large glass.
