The grape variety used for the production of this sensational wine is 100% pure Greco. Vines’s origin falls within the company limits in the western area of Campania, on the breezy hills of Sannio. Harvest takes place during the second half of September. Vinification involves the use of cryo - maceration with subsequent soft pressing in the absence of oxygen. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel for 15 days at a controlled temperature. Aging develops in stainless steel tanks at 14°C.
Greco Sannio Janare DOP’s features
An intense, straw yellow color. Perfume has a full-bodied fragrance characterized by fruity tones and a marked intensity and persistence. Taste leaves elements of acidity and sapidity gradually increasing giving a balanced and pleasant note.
Suggested food pairings while tasting this white wine from Campania
A perfect wine with appetizers, especially fish-based, cold dishes, fried fish, oysters, lobsters and shellfish. Excellent with buffalo mozzarella or with Parmigiana. The optimal serving temperature is 8°C in a high and wide wine glass.
