This wine has the prestigious DOCG Franciacorta denomination. The Brut Milledì DOCG of the Ferghettina is made with 100% Chardonnay grapes. The vineyards are cultivated at 250 meters above the sea level and the soil has a clay and limestone structure. They are cultivated with the Guyot method and there is a manual picking of the grapes at the half of August. The grapes is pressed very softly with a pneumatic press. Once the grapes are pressed there is a selection of the must to keep the best to produce the Franciacorta. The alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at 16-18°C. Every vineyard is cultivated separately until the different cuvee are tasted and blended together for the re-fermentation. The refinement on yeasts lasts 36 months.
