Wine description
This Franciacorta wine from Cantina Contadi Castaldi is made from 50% Chardonnay and 50% Pinot Bianco grapes, with a captivating perlage and engaging freshness. After the manual harvesting of the bunches, we proceed with soft pressing and cold static decantation, making use of selected yeasts. followed by fermentation in steel for 20 days and rest in steel for refinement for 7 months.
Characteristics of this Franciacorta
With an intense perlage and a bright straw yellow colour, the nose is distinguished by vegetal notes of broom and honeysuckle, citrus and toasted notes. On the palate it is fresh and with a well-balanced flavor.
Recommended pairings with this Franciacorta sparkling wine
Try it as an accompaniment to fish-based dishes. Excellent with sushi or aperitifs. Serve at a temperature of 8-10°C.
