“Morabianca” produced by Mastroberardino comes from a selection of grapes of a single vineyard located in Mirabella Eclano: a unique white wine that is the result of careful studies of the territories and that in the meantime represents a new expression of “Falanghina”. The denomination “Irpinia Falanghina DOC” considers the use of 100% Falanghina. The vineyard has a south-west orientation and its soils are rich of loam, tuff and minerals, elements that helps the correct draining of water. The espalier with Guyot training produces, with its 4000 stumps, around 70 quintals per hectare. The vineyard is 10 years old and its harvest is managed manually at the end of October. The wine making process is the traditional white one, with steel containers, controlled temperature and no contact between peels and must. The aging in the bottle lasts for 2 months.
Features of “Falanghina Morabianca Irpinia” produced by Mastroberardino
The organoleptic exam shows a shiny yellow colour full of green shades. Its scent is fresh and fruity, with intense sensations of tropical fruits, apple, peach, lemon, orange, kiwi and flowers. The taste confirms the freshness introduced by the perfume through its sourness, balanced by structure.
