From the vineyards located in the hamlet of San Luigi, this red wine from the Piedmontese winery Marziano Abbona is made from Dolcetto grapes, from vineyards with an average age of 46 years. After the harvest, it is thinned and pressed, followed by spontaneous alcoholic fermentation using indigenous yeasts: as is standard practice for red winemaking, This phase takes place in contact with the peels and for a period of 16 days at approximately 25-28°C. After malolactics, it is refined in steel until bottling, then it rests further for two months.
