From the pure vinification of 100% pure Chardonnay grapes grown within the estate limits in the Collio area. The grapes come from the Collio DOC area of Friuli Venezia Giulia. For vinification, the grapes are harvested by hand, after a soft pressing and 48 hours of cold maceration on the skins, the must is statically decanted. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 18 °C.
Characteristics of this white wine
To the eye, the wine is straw yellow in colour, with golden hues. The nose expresses floral and fruity apple aromas, with slight mineral nuances. On the palate, the fruity notes are well balanced by a lively acidity. Slightly savoury finish.
Suggested pairings with this Chardonnay
It goes very well with seafood menus, in particular with grilled or baked fish. The optimum serving temperature is 10° C in a tall, wide goblet.
