The Lunae winery, located in Liguria, produces this sensational “Fior di Luna” wine. It is produced by a local blend of Vermentino, Albarola and Greco grapes. It has the DOC Colli di Luni certification which guarantees the origin. The Fior di Luna wine is made by the same percentage of every wine. All the cultivation soils are pebbly and rich of stones and they are cultivated with the Guyot method with a density of 4000 units per hectare. The manual grape harvest takes place in September when the bunches are put in wooden boxes. There is the fermentation in steel tanks where the must is kept under temperature control. Then the aging in stainless steel tanks for 3 months and in February the wine is ready to be bottled.
Characteristics of the white wine Colli di Luni Fior di Luna
The Lunae Fior di luna has a light straw yellow color with green reflections. The scent is fine and delicate with intense citron aromas, but also floral and characterized by hawthorn and elder fragrances. The taste is fresh, sapid, and with character. There are great aromatic flavors.
