The Chinato della Serra produced by the Massucco winery is made by Nebbiolo grapes cultivated in the Roero territory. The history of this wine comes from the fact that the Nebbiolo grapes are useful to create a digestive after dinner known as Chinato. The bark of the south American cinchona tree is soaked in the Nebbiolo and it is aromatized with many flavors according to the producer recipe. Other ingredients are cinnamon, coriander, iris flowers, mint and vanilla. This drink is very aromatic.

In the working process the nebbiolo grapes are instilled with healthy and aromatic herbs from Piedmont. The main ingredients are: the Roero wine, alcohol, sugar, cinchona, cinnamon, cloves, coriander, cardamom, sweet and bitter orange skin and vanilla. These elements macerate for 40 days. It has garnet red color with orange reflections watchable backlight. It is very remarkable the spicy scent and it is also harmonic and pleasant. The taste is full, intense and fragrant.
