A refined white wine of the Zenato winery produced with Chardonnay grapes at 100%. The cultivation is in Peschiera del Garda on the south side of the lake. The cultivation is at 80 meters above the sea level and the soil is clay and limestone with the Guyot method for the cultivation. The average years of the vineyards is 30 and the profit is 100 quintals per hectare. The grape harvest takes place in the first decade of September and there is a fermentation in stainless steel tanks for 15/20 days at 16-18°C. The refinement in stainless steel tanks lasts 4/5 months and further 2-3 months in bottle before being commercialized.
Characteristics of the Chardonnay Garda DOC
It has a straw yellow color with green reflections. The smell is intense with floral aromas. The taste is mineral, balanced, soft and delicate.
