This Chardonnay "Calanica" from the Sicilian Winery Duca di Salaparuta is produced with Chardonnay grapes in purity, grown in the vineyards located in western Sicily: here the soils are of mixed composition, mainly of siliceous-clayey type, and benefit from a climate with mild winters and dry summers. At the end of the manual harvest in the second half of August, the phase of soft pressing and fermentation of the must takes place for at least 10 days, from here it is then matured in steel in contact with the yeasts in steel tanks and finally bottled.

Upon organoleptic examination this Chardonnay shows a brilliant straw yellow color; The citrus notes typical of Sicily appear on the nose. In the mouth it is young and fresh with a nice savory note on the finish.
