Val di Suga cellar produces this sensational Brunello di Montalcino DOCG with 100% Sangiovese Grosso grapes coming from “Vigna Spuntali”, located in the south-west side of Montalcino. The lands here are located 300 meters above the sea level. The fermentation is managed at 25-30°C in concrete containers for 20 days. After 24 months aging in French oak barrels of 300 l, this wine continues its maturation in the bottle for at least 24 months. “Vigna Spuntali” is the best area of the south-west side of Montalcino. It represents an historical CRU for the production of Brunello, where the soil is touched by the sun and dry and the climate influenced by the sea, that is only 40 km far.
