This traditional wine by TUA RITA praises the denomination IGT Toscana Rosso. It is produced in “Alta Maremma”, near the “Colline Metallifere” with 100% Sangiovese. The plants are trained with Cordon-spur pruning and Guyot method. The average density of the vineyard swings between 5000-9000 stumps per hectare. The soil is characterized by clay and loam. Tua Rita cellar follows the rules of the Biological cultivation and produce 40000 bottles of this wine every year. The aging is managed for the 50% in barriques made of French oak. The other 50% is treated in “Cuvée” (containers made of oak, 35 hl). Sangiovese and Trebbiano were the predominant varieties, when the winery has been bought. After different wine-makings, aimed to bring out the potential of the variety, they decide to try something new. In 2003 a new vineyard with a selected clone has been planted, in order to face the hot weather of Tuscany. In 2011 the first harvest, with 100% of the grapes coming from this vineyard. The result has been satisfying, expressing a Sangiovese with great quality.

Intense ruby red colour with shiny violet shades. The perfume is characterized by mature red fruits, jam, vegetal sensations, undergrowth and flowers. Its taste is generous, with noble tannins enriched by pleasant balsamic sensations. Great and long persistence.
