The Brunello di Montalcino Cerretalto DOCG is a Tuscany red wine of great character with an international reputation. The agricultural company Casanova di Neri since 1978 (year of the first Brunello di Montalcino) produces a real qualitative certainty thanks to its love and passion for its land. The grapes is 100% Sangiovese coming from Cerretalto vineyards and they are selected from the best grapes of the company. The grape harvest is by hand, follows the destemming of the bunches and grapes and finally the fermentation takes place without additional yeast. The refinement is in oak barrel for 31 months.
Characteristics of Brunello di Montalcino Cerretalto
Esthetically it has an intense ruby red color with some purple reflections. The scent is fruity with some red fruit and a spicy end with a mineral aroma. The taste is deep with great persistence and it gives satisfaction both drink at the beginning than evolved in the years.
Recommended pairings while tasting this Brunello wine
It has to be served in wide goblets at 16-18°C. It is suggested to open the bottle some hours before drinking it to exalt its quality. It is great to be drunk with red meat, game and old cheeses. It is good also to be drunk alone to try a very pleasant moment.
